La Negra Albina was born in the corners of Brussels in 2014 by busking musicians, they decided to unite and create new sounds from experiments and fusion of different rhythms.

 

Directed by Paula León (Madrid, Spain) with electric bass, voice and songwriting, the project also features Fabian Ignacio (Rosario, Argentina) with drums and percussions, Lucas Penna (Sao Paulo, Brazil) with electric guitar and Picu Domingo (Rosario, Argentina) with accordion and keyboards.

 

Its music includes rhythms such as cumbia, funk, afrobeat and brazilian music with a hypnotic and psychedelic trace which they call Psycho-Cumbia Afro-Sonica. 

They released an EP album in May 2017 and they are continually creating new compositions and artistic material.

 

They have performed in festivals in countries such as France, Belgium, Spain and Luxembourg, dancing even with the most wicked people.

Based on the island of Formentera, Spain, they will spend half the year between Argentina and Brazil performing shows in various scenarios and they will return to Europe in the spring of 2020 to start the summer tour they are now preparing.
